Jackie Burleson
MBA, CPC, CIHt
Jackie is a kind, warm-hearted person who loves to help clients live from a place of their own personal freedom and full potential. She believes that it is every person’s birthright to live a life aligned with their own true essence, happiness and fulfillment. Jackie works with clients to help identify and shift the deeply embedded, repressed thoughts and beliefs that block the flow of positive energy into their lives, preventing them from living the life they were meant to live.
Jackie is a certified hypnotherapist and life coach, intuitive empath, writer, qigong instructor and business woman. Given Jackie’s varied background, she is a unique blend of left-brain practical analytical ability coupled with right-brain intuition and creativity.
Jackie attended the Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy’s 500-hour program located in Tampa, FL, where she became a Certified Interpersonal and Clinical Hypnotherapist (CIHt) in 2019. Hypnotherapy helped Jackie go deeper and uncover the root causes of underlying feelings of sadness and low self-esteem that stem from her childhood. Jackie always felt she lived life with an imaginary boundary on the amount of joy she could feel. Hypnotherapy helped her uncover repressed memories, remove self-imposed limitations and feel a sense of emotional and spiritual freedom she has never experienced before. Jackie recommends hypnotherapy to anyone who feels they self-sabotage or set self-imposed limits on the amount of happiness and success they experience.
Jackie also has 20+ years of corporate business experience primarily in Information Technology. She understands the anxiety and pressure to work and fit into today’s stressful business environments. Hypnotherapy and other energy techniques Jackie employs helps with the anxiousness, sadness, lack of focus and motivation one can feel when you are working in a job that does not fit your natural way of being, which can take a toll on the soul.
Jackie has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a BA in Organizational Communication from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She lives in Charlotte, NC. Jackie completed Somatic Approaches to Healing Trauma training offered in association with John F. Kennedy University’s Holistic Counseling Psychology department.
Narcissistic Abuse & Trauma
Narcissistic abuse is often covert, disguised as ‘love’ and can stem from relationships with family, friends, co-workers and romantic partners. Jackie understands narcissism first-hand, having experienced several narcissistic relationships in her lifetime with family and partners. Part of Jackie’s life mission is to educate and work with clients to recover from narcissistic abuse by putting themselves first in their own life and reconnecting to their own innate essence, joy and life purpose. Jackie found in her own healing process that hypnotherapy works as a powerful antidote for releasing the impacts of narcissistic abuse.
Jackie gently helps clients get in touch with deep, painful wounding stemming from narcissism, childhood abuse and neglect, and other forms of adult trauma. Jackie enjoys working with empaths and children of narcissistic parents who typically continue to live out these harmful patterns in adulthood.
Narcissists lack empathy, are extremely self-centered, and look at other human beings as ‘Supply’ meaning that person supplies their needs (e.g. money, sex, living arrangement, prestige, etc.) Living with a narcissist can be confusing and exhausting since they are ‘Energy Vampires’ and work to keep someone out of balance so they can control and manipulate situations to their favor. A victim of narcissistic abuse can feel confused, exhausted, and out of touch with their own thoughts, feelings and life purpose. Work with Jackie to reverse the effects of narcissistic abuse on all levels – emotionally, mentally, spiritually, physically and energetically. It has been Jackie’s experience that recovery from narcissistic abuse and other forms of trauma can be accomplished quicker with hypnotherapy than with other more traditional methods.
Remember who you truly are, implement feelings of self-love and self-respect and take your life back!
Life Coaching
Jackie is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) who graduated from the New York Open Center’s Coaching for Transformation 145-hour life coaching certification program in 2006. Jackie chose this educational program due to its holistic mind-body-spirit approach to life coaching.
Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching are perfect compliments to each other. While in hypnosis, clients often access innate wisdom from their higher consciousness about their life situations. Jackie captures this helpful higher-level wisdom and incorporates it into the wrap-up of the hypnotherapy session. Clients walk out of the session with practical ideas and steps they can take to start implementing the higher guidance they received.
